Avatar Telepresence Robot
In response to the alarming situation caused by the Covid-19, we have built the ATR, an Avatar Telepresence Robot designed for hospitals and long term care homes. The ATR will lower the risk of infection of healthcare workers by being easily deployed and remotely controlled by essential service providers using our own mobile app. This will Allow them to safely travel front lines when physical presence isn’t necessary.
The ATR was built in 9 days as part of the Hackathon #Hackthecurve where start-ups and teams were challenged to create a solution that aims to combat issues faced by frontline workers, businesses and everyday Canadians as a result of the virus.
We competed among nearly 100 startups and ranked top 2!
